By completing this prompt, it will unlock another starter quest for you to complete. This works as essentially your tutorial for playing the game.
You can only complete these starting quests once.

It’s time for spring, which also means time to clean up your hoard! Whether it’s that pile of things you’ve gotten from adventuring, or simply revamping your closet a little bit, there’s always something to be cleaned up, and what better time to do it than now, as a new cycle of seasons begins?

As the days begin to get warmer, many Kyvalorians resume taking strolls at all hours of the day. The nights however remain particularly breathtaking; just the right temperature, with the clear skies overhead and motes of mana floating in the gentle breeze, a midnight walk can really put one in a good mood.

Warding the Home
It's important to stay safe and guarded
Details
With the recent appearances of monster around Kyvalore, many citizens are beginning to worry for the safety of their towns and communities, and as these fears grow so too does the desire for countermeasures in the event of a monster attack. Your Kyvalorians community has decided to erect wards and defenses just in case they become a target. Defenses both magical and physical are put in place around the town; those magically inclined weave spells and wards around their homes, while others resort to more traditional traps.
Draw or write about your character helping to make defenses in their area. Do they opt for something magical, or go for a more traditional approach?

Itty Bitty Bokiri
Details
Rumors and tales of new flittering creatures found in flowerfeilds and new forest growths has peaked the interest of many in Kyvalore. Athalie has sent out a small handful of requests for Kyvalorians to go in search of said critters in hopes to learn more of their nature, life, and general wearabouts. Afraid to rally too many to her cause and scare the poor critters into hiding before the spring season is over, you find yourself as one of the one's picked to find a Bokiri and bring it to Athalie! She said if you seem like a good fit, you'd be permitted to keep the bokiri you found in the end, and she'd give you some food to help you raise them. How nice!
Draw or write about your character on the hunt for a bokiri! These little critters like to burrow in the dirt near fresh spring growths and sometimes can be hard to locate. Do you go digging around flower feilds? How long do you pursue the creatures? How do the bokiri react when you find them?
This quest is limited to once per user.

The Weary Merchant
Details
Upon perusing the wares of the shops you stumble upon a merchant with the strangest stock. Upon his table, covered in dust and dirt from age, lay artifacts of an age long past. Towers of old handpainted pots, weapons of all shapes and sizes, and relics with unreadable runes. Two things that stand out to you, almost beckiningly are a few strange coins with old runes and a uneasy aura of magic around them, and a few small stone bird statues that could fit in the palm of your hand.
Draw or write about your character perusing this odd shop and obtaining one(1) of these two items.
This is a story quest for characters who did not previously gain either the strange coin or the bird statuette in a previous quest OR if you obtained an item and would like to use this prompt to now trade the item for the other if that character has not yet entered the Grave Isle or the Aetherin Forest.
While this quest does not affect the story of Kyvalore like other Story quests, this quest lets you get an item needed so you can participate in a current story quest or an item that lets your character gather rewards.

Whispers In Secret (Story pt. 1)
This is only the beginning

This quest does not require a location for your character to participate!
This is a legacy quest! This means this was a previous part of the ongoing story of Painted Relics so while what your characters do in this part of the story dont affect the next chapter, you can still participate to gain some previous rewards, and to place your character into kyvalores story.
While going about your busy day, your eyes catch something among the street. Nothing seemed particularly interesting about it, and if you were being honest, it looked like a scrap of paper that was tossed aside intended for the trash, and yet.. You reach for it. Feel it on your paws and glance over it. Strange markings and runes decorate the page that you’ve seen only on ancient relics, but not any known language to any living Kyvalorian you know.
Something about it feels… enticing. Like a strange invitation that speaks to the deepest parts of your soul. A desire to know what it says, understand it, speak it…
A whisper enters your mind, a callous tone about it. A feeling of dread overwhelms you. Something about this magic that pulses from the scrap you now hold feels wrong, tainted somehow. The parchment is speaking to you in words you cannot understand, it’s voice harsh, crackling, and growling. Words that cannot be translated and yet you feel that if you listen long enough you’ll be able to decipher at least the meaning of the words.
Draw or wrtie about your character finding this strange parchment. How do they react?
