Cilis was born to a moderately well-off pair of aristocratic voxibells in Reim. His childhood crush was an artisan's apprentice who left the city in his youth. Cilis was never inclined to follow her, content to stay in his position as a personal secretary and guard to an upperclass noblewoman. Her harsh mood swings and cold demeanor are usually too much for kyvalorians to handle, but Cilis has always possessed the ability to simply weather the storm.

Cilis was never one for travel, and in fact would prefer never to have to leave his city, but the future in store for him doesn't care for his introverted nature.
